Your account: signing in, your password and deleting it

The ways you can sign in, how to set or change a password, and how to delete your account — with or without a password.

How you can sign in

  • With Google or LinkedIn.
  • With your email and a code we send you — no password needed.
  • With your email and a password, if you have set one.

Your account page lists the ways connected to your account under “Connected providers”.

Setting or changing your password

If you sign in only with Google or LinkedIn, your account has no password, so there is nothing to change.

If your account uses your email, use “Change password” on your account page. Never set a password, or forgot it? Choose “Sign in with an email code” first — after signing in with a code, you can set a new password without entering the current one.

Deleting your account

  • Open your account page and choose “Delete account”.
  • Type DELETE to confirm.
  • Confirm it is you, as the window asks.

No password is needed if you signed in within the last 15 minutes with Google or LinkedIn (for an account without a password), or with a code sent to your email.

Otherwise, enter your current password — or, if you have none, choose “Sign in with an email code”. An account that signs in only with Google or LinkedIn chooses “Sign in again with Google” (or LinkedIn). Either way, you come straight back to the open window.

If you have a paid plan, its subscription is cancelled first, so you are not charged again. Deleting your account cannot be undone.
