Digital business card questions
What is a digital business card?
A business card that lives on a web page. People open it from your link or by scanning the QR code on your printed card, see your details, and save you to their phone’s contacts with one tap. With Tabhar you get the card page and the print files for a paper card, from the same design.
Is the digital business card free?
Yes. The Free plan includes 1 digital business card with the free designs (4 of 16) and a small “Made with Tabhar” mark on its page, and the card never uses AI points. Paid plans add more cards (Starter 3, Pro 5, Elite 10), every design, your own cover image and no mark.
How does the QR code work?
The QR code holds your card’s private link, so any phone camera that reads QR codes opens your card page — no app to install. Put it on the back of your card, or as a small code on the front in the designs that have room for one; your card page can also show it on screen. If you make a new link, the old link and every printed QR code that carries it stop working.
How do people save my card to their contacts on iPhone or Android?
Your card page has a “Save to contacts” button. It hands the phone a contact file (a vCard) with your name, job title, company and the details you chose to show. On iPhone the contact opens as a preview: scroll down and tap “Create New Contact”. On Android the phone offers to add it to your contacts; on some phones the file downloads first — open it to add it. A card in both languages can be saved in either one.
What print files do I get?
A PDF with 3 mm bleed, a PDF with bleed and crop marks, and exact-size images at 300 dpi — for 90 × 50, 85 × 55, 89 × 51 mm cards, on every plan. Take them to any print shop; the QR code on the printed card opens your card page.
Can my card be in Arabic and English?
Yes. Every field has an Arabic and an English version: you choose the language of the front, and the back can carry the other language. Your card page opens in your visitor’s language and has a button to switch.
Will my card show up on Google?
No. Your card page is kept out of search engines, and its link is long and random, so only people you give it to — or who scan your card — can open it. A memorable address such as /c/your-name (on paid plans) can be guessed.
If my details change, do I need new cards printed?
Not for your card page: edit your card and the page shows the new details at once, and the QR code on cards you already printed keeps opening it as long as you keep the same link. The text printed on paper changes only when you print again.
