Getting started: the welcome window

What the welcome window offers on your first visit to the dashboard, and how to open it again.

When it appears

The first time you open your dashboard, a short welcome window asks what you would like to do first. If you signed up on the way to something else — a job, for example — you reach that page first, and the welcome waits for your dashboard.

Your choices

• Choose what to do first: build a new CV, import the CV you have (PDF, Word or LinkedIn), or write a cover letter.
• Pick the language of your CV — you can change it later.
• If you like, add your name, job title, field and how you heard about Tabhar. All of it is optional.
• For a new CV, pick a template — the editor opens straight away.

Closing it, and opening it again

Close it with ✕, the Esc key or “Not now”. It will not open by itself again. Until you have your first CV, the “Get started” card on your dashboard opens it again.
