Who these terms are for

  • These terms are between Tabhar and a business (“the Company”) that opens an account on Tabhar for Hiring, the hiring portal of Tabhar. The person who accepts them for the Company confirms that they may bind it.
  • They add to our general Terms of Service, which still apply to every Tabhar account. Where the two differ, these terms decide for the Company’s use of Tabhar for Hiring.

What the service does

  • The Company can post jobs in English or Arabic with structured fields and its own screening questions.
  • People apply with a CV they built on Tabhar and agree to share a copy with the Company for that job only. The Company can view the copy inside the portal; it cannot be downloaded from there.
  • The Company moves applicants through its own hiring stages and can write to them inside the portal. Messages are text only, and a message our safety rules flag is held for review and is not delivered unless a person at Tabhar releases it.
  • Some features may change while the portal is in early access.

Accounts and access

  • The portal is open only to companies Tabhar approves. The Company may add its commercial registration, which we check, for a “Verified company” badge.
  • Every member of the Company who can open a CV must sign in with two-step verification.
  • The Company is responsible for the members it adds, for what they do in the portal, and for removing a member who should no longer have access.

Candidates’ data

  • The Company may use what it sees in the portal — CVs, contact details and messages — only for its own hiring. It may not copy, sell or share it with anyone else, or contact candidates for any other purpose.
  • For the candidate data the Company receives through the portal, the Company is the controller and we process it on its behalf, as set out in our Data Processing Addendum, which forms part of these terms.

Fair hiring

  • No company may ask a candidate to pay anything to apply or to be hired.
  • Job ads must not discriminate in a way our job-ad rules forbid, and must follow our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • The software never rejects a candidate automatically; a person at the Company decides on every application.

Jobs and offers

  • Every job the Company posts must be a real vacancy of the Company, described accurately.
  • An offer the Company makes through Tabhar for Hiring is the Company’s own: Tabhar is not a party to it, and the Company confirms the next steps with the candidate itself.

Plans and payment

  • Paid company plans renew automatically every month or year until the Company’s owner cancels. A cancelled subscription stays in force until the end of the paid period; the Company then moves to the free plan and nothing is deleted.
  • Prices are shown in Saudi riyals and charged in US dollars by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record; the Company’s bank may add a foreign-currency fee.
  • Early access may come with its own terms for a period, which we will confirm to the Company in writing before anything is charged.

Suspension and ending

  • Tabhar may hold or remove a job or a message, or suspend a company account, that breaks these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, after reviewing a report or an automatic check.
  • The Company’s owner may ask us to close the Company’s account at any time by writing to support@tabhar.com. Candidate data is then deleted as our Data Processing Addendum describes.

Limitation of liability

Tabhar for Hiring is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Tabhar is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any hiring decision the Company makes, and our total liability to the Company shall not exceed the amount the Company paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Changes and contact

  • We will tell the Company about a material change to these terms by e-mail before it takes effect.
  • Questions about these terms: support@tabhar.com.
