How points work
Points pay for the AI tools. Here is where they come from, what each action costs, and what happens when a run fails.
Where points come from
Each paid plan adds points every month: Starter 60 pts, Pro 175 pts, Elite 400 pts.
The Free plan has no points. You can still build a CV and download it as a PDF on the Free plan.
Until 31 December 2026, every account can have the Starter plan free, with no card, while free places last.

Points come with a paid plan each month; the Free plan has none. A run that fails is refunded.
Every button that spends points shows its price before you press it.
The assistant chat charges by the kind of request, from 1 to 5 pts a message. Each message shows its exact price before it is sent.
Before anything is charged
Every action that spends points first asks you to confirm: it names the action, shows its price and your balance before and after. Press Continue (or Enter) to go ahead, Cancel (or Escape) to stop — nothing is charged until you confirm, and one confirmation is one charge.
- For an action under 10 pts you can tick "Don't ask me again". The choice is saved on your account, for that action only, on every device. If that action's price changes, we ask you again.
- Actions of 10 pts or more, and prices that depend on how many items you choose, are confirmed every time.
- Changed your mind? Account settings → Preferences → "Show points confirmations again".
- Not enough points? The confirmation says so and charges nothing.
When a run fails
- If an action fails, its points come back to you automatically.
- Tailor to a job: a run that suggests no change keeps 2 pts of its 4 pts, because the CV was still read against the job.
How long points last
Points from your plan last 30 days. If you run out during the month, your points refill at your next monthly renewal. Points you did not use do not carry over to the next month.
Where to see your balance
Your balance is at the top of every dashboard page. The Points & Plan page lists every change to your points with its date, and shows the same table as this page.
